| Since the concept of performance management was proposed by academic management in late 70?ˉs of 20th century, performance management has become more and more important in the enterprise management. Companies are also increasing emphasis on performance management, and they regard performance management essential in the development of company. Quantities of companies in the world today continue to improve and refine their performance management. However, as many companies only care about their short-term economic benefits while pay less emphasis on performance management in the rapid development of constructing decoration industry, and not high quality decorative workers, a lot of decoration companies lack competitiveness and it?ˉs difficult to expand in size.In order to solve the various problems of performance management in the many constructing decoration companies, the author analyzes the current performance management system of Chengdu JH Housing Decoration Company with theories of performance management and then redesigns its new performance management system. By implementing the new performance management system in the company, the author hopes to improve the performance management effect of the entire industry.In this dissertation, the author firstly describes performance management theories, including the concept of performance and performance management, performance management approaches, the importance of performance management in modern enterprise management and so on. Then the author studies Chengdu JH Housing Decoration Company?ˉs current performance management, using performance management theory to analyze problems in the current performance management system and the causes of their problems, and use KPI and MBO to redesign of Chengdu JH Housing Decoration company?ˉs performance management system according to the finding problems in it?ˉs performance management and corporate development situation. Then the author analyze the expecting effect of implementing the new performance management system in Chengdu JH Housing Decoration company from the point of the theory of performance management, as well as the security of implementing the new performance management system.
