The text discuss the spatial relationship change of the Ji-Qing dual-core structure, and we can clear thec haracteristic of it futureFirstly, The article begin from the Shandong urban system, adopt Qualitative and quantitative research approach, Analyze the formation of the Ji-Qing dual-core structure and distinguish it in different periods. It shows that the main reason that the formation of the Ji-Qing dual-core structure is Complementary and Accessibility between Jinan and Qingdao. From the Qing Dynasty to now, there has been Ji-Qing dual-core structure in Shandong province.Secondly, from the perspective of competition and cooperation, the article Analyze the evolution of spatial relationships and its regional implications .It shows that, from the Qing Dynasty to now, the intensity has being increasing except the prime of Reform and opening up. The nature of Competitive return from cut-throat competition to a healthy competitive. T-he competitive advantage shifted from Jinan to Qingdao. The major impact on the region reflected in the birth of a modern agricultural and industrial modernization, and make Shandong Province have experienced substantial differences in economic structure.Finally, from the perspective of niche theory, the article analyse how to consort the relationship, and put forwards Jinan and Qingdao hould insist on the potential ecological niche and selective mutation strategy, niche separation and dislocation competitive strategies, niche expansion and mutualist strategies.
