The Research Of The Application Of Xml Technology In The Pdm System Based On Web

Product Data Management System (PDMS) has been widely adopted to improvethe competition of enterprises. Along the rapidly developed WEB and database technologies,PDMS can not satisfy the new requirements of the enterprises. Therefore,PDMS is developed based on WEB, incorporating the present PDM thoughts, database technology, and the newest computer technology. It has the advantages of good openness, easy deployment, intuitivism and easy manipulation.This paper analyzes the system structure and techniques supporting the PDMS based on WEB. It gives a point of combining the database and XML, and mainly analyzes the XML RDBMS database interface technique by making use of the advantages of XML. During the application developing process, it can reduce the redundant coding, and raise the developing efficiency. It adopts the object oriented technology to make the system more strong to satisfy the needs of the various enterprises. It also studies the XML security, which insures the security of delivering XML data in web.Customer can make high-efficiency operation on data in WEB browser by using XML as the base of delivering data in PDMS. Finally,Using XML-RDBMS database interface technology, an enterprise management informationsystem is developed. And the performance of this system shows the practicability andvalidity of this technique.
