The reliability and security is the key to operate normally for control systems. Fault-tolerant control pioneers a new way to enhance the reliability and the security of complicated systems. In addition, the uncertain parameter is inevitable in practical systems. Without considering of the uncertainty of the control system may be difficult to obtain the ideal actual results, and may even cause the collapse of the system. Therefore, the combination of the above two areas based on the generalized system as a natural extension of the normal system and extensive practical background, and the study of the fault-tolerant control for uncertain generalized systems is not only theoretical significance but also broad prospects for the practical engineering.This thesis analyses the generalized systems with parameter uncertainties and studies some kinds of robust fault-tolerant control and satisfactory fault-tolerant control problems when happening of the senor or actor failures, using LMI approach.Firstly, the thesis analyses the problem of robust fault-tolerant control for uncertain descriptor systems. Then, the purpose is to design a state feedback controller to make the closed-loop systems is regular, no pulse and stable for the uncertainty and senor failure. Here, the fault model of senor failure we consider is continuous. Furthermore, it designs a robust H∞fault-tolerant controller to satisfy a prescribed H-norm bound constraint. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the method.Secondly, the thesis further studies the fault-tolerant control for a class of uncertain generalized systems with nonlinear disturbance. At first, the sufficient condition of the systems is generalized quadratic stability is given for uncertain and nonlinear disturbance. Afterward, the purpose is to design a state feedback controller to make the closed-loop systems is generalized quadratic stable for the failures of the senor.Thirdly, we study the problem of satisfactory fault-tolerant control for uncertain descriptor systems. The purpose is to design a state-feedback controller such that the closed-loop system is robust stable for the failures of the senor in the conditions of satisfying the constraints of regional pole index, variance index and H∞index.Finally, a conclusion is given to summarize the thesis work.
