Fault-tolerant control is an important part of the modern control systems.Fault-tolerant control is to improve the reliability of the control system and mainly to solvesome problem of the sensor or actuator failures to ensure safe operation. The fault-toleranceis an important characteristic of the control system. It has an important value in theory andpractice to study the fault-tolerant problem for the system.Through linear matrix inequality method and Lyapunov theory, we have considered thefault-tolerant control problems for several systems .The main work is as follows:1.It discusses the integral problem for a class of linear uncertain time-delay systems.Theactuator failures and sensor fault are considered, and the design method of the controller toenable the system has integrity is given. The feasibility of the proposed design is shownthrough the simulation, and the calculation is easy.2.The robust H∞fault-tolerant control problem for a class of uncertain time-delaysystems is studied .The design method of the fault-tolerant state feedback controller for aclass of uncertain time-delay systems is given. The proposed closed-loop systems basedon this design method remain intact in the case of sensor failures and robust in thepresence of parameter uncertainties.3.This paper focuses on the robust fault-tolerant control problem for the uncertaintime-delay systems with actuator failures. A more general continuous fault model of actuatorfailures is adopted. The sufficient condition for robust fault-tolerant control in existence isgiven so that the systems could keep asymptotically stable .The feasibility of the proposeddesign is shown through the simulation, and it is very easy to be calculated.4.This paper focuses on the robust fault-tolerant control problem for the uncertaintime-delay singular systems with actuator failures and memory state feedback. A more generalfault model of actuator failures is adopted. The sufficient condition for robust fault-tolerantcontrol in existence is given so that the systems could keep asymptotically stable. Thefeasibility of the proposed design is shown through the simulation.
