The essence of lasers is to achieve optical amplication,outputting high-quality laser.Gain coefficient is the main parameters that measure optical amplification in the laser.This paper puts forward that the study of laws of gain variation can be carried out from the view of field.laser gain variation with the field,the main reseach result are:Deduced and simulated the laws that gain change with the field; simulated the relative gain distribution in the media;using our deduced laser gain equation and laser dynamics equation,to do a comprehensive analysis of gain variation with the field in laser system;found a new way of studying laser gain; pointed out the important role of the research.This thesis's major work start from the following two aspects:(1) Starting from the non-uniform broadening function that gain changes with the applied field, to study gain variation with the applied electric field. Concrete as follows:a. Laser gain equations and dynamical equations is derived.using the derived laser gain equations and laser system potential function, The dynamic equtions that gain varys with the external electric field in laser system is derived further.the dynamical equation we obtained fully reflects the laws that gain varys with the field,these plays an important role for studing the dynamic behavior in laser system.b. This artical derived the functional relationship that gain coefficient varys with the applied electric field; simulated the curves that gain changes with the electric field. Assignment to each parameter in the functional relationship, simulated the curves that gain changes with the eletric field; the gain coefficient variation with the applied electric field can be obtained from the curves visually. c. Use of non-equilibrium theory to study the problem of laser gain,a new way is given to study that.(2) The study started with the relationship that the material gain coefficient is derectly proportion to the pump light field.By studying the distribution of the pump light field,to study the laws of gain variation, Concrete as follows:a. Simulated the distribution of the gain and then studied the changes of it form the diagram. Simulated the effect of optical field distribution for different values of the parameters of the gain distribution, Study the gain variation from the simulation of each chart.b. Discussed the reasons of the gain different distribution in each simulation diagram.Discussed comprehensively the reasons of different gain distribution in all the simulation diagram, these have the theoretical reference value to improve the medium-gain,to output ideal laser mode and high power laser.
