The Research On The Database Technology Of Highway Engineering Three Dimensional Synthesis Information Management System

As one of the basic traffic facilities, highway has an direct effect on the development of the national economy. Since the Reforming and Opening-up in our country, the rapid development of highway construction, the increasing improvement of road grades and the extending of miles have made the management level of the road unable to meet the need of the development of road. So applying GIS(Geographic Information System) technique to the road construction and management of our country is a highway-efficient and important foundation works of building the backbone of national road of our country and is one of the important means to push road construction and management into modernization. In this paper, we do some detailed analysis and thorough research on serveral key technologies related to the database of the highway engineering three dimensional synthesis information management system.This paper consists of four chapters.Chaper one is an introduction, we briefly introduce the objective and meaning of the paper, besides, we make an introduction about the primary content.In chapter two, we briefly introduce the theory about designing database.In chapter three, based on the theory about designing database and specific characteristics of highway data-many sources, wide covers and large quantities, we propose an overall function designment and develop the E-R model of the hignway database, besides, we also design the database table of the system.In chapter four, we mainly study the connection between SQL Server 2000 and SDK-JBuilder 2006 and realize building the database on server and many function management of the database. The final running result can be used as the originalised block of the software which can help the highway managers do managements such as inquirition, addation, revision and deletion swiftly.
