Special feature photography as a form of important news reporting, by nature of its form of expression, to a certain extent resulted in the boom and development of the people's news. Since the start of the 90's until today, special feature photojournalism has encountered a bottleneck, causing trends of expansion and decline. Emphasizing"visualization", the metropolitan media outlet increased support for the use of photos, under conditions of sufficient layout, creating many innovative topics, strengthening the live feeling and interest; however those focusing on the"depth"of reporting were put in many awkward circumstances, and many papers had no choice but to stop special interest photos. With plans to adopt a model-based method of reporting, newspapers downplayed the use of photo journalism, consequently reducing viewership and readership. However, the <<Hubei Daily>> focus section used"in-depth photo reporting"as an innovative slogan creating a reform in photojournalism. The road to creating a new platform for feature photojournalism, really created"both the picture and its accompanying essay are excellent"editor's thought, emphasized the media guide, strengthened social sense of responsibility, and established the reputation of the newspaper。The author used media narrative theory, content analysis, document analysis, participant observation and other methods, from the narrator, narrative content, and narrative form to analyze《Focus》narrative structure, proposing that《Focus》policy orientation focus on daily livelihood. Meanwhile, reform has resulted in 3 new interactive web platforms this year, attempting the first interactive column in the industry, providing the entire media era with a clear direction.
