The super-speed target in the pipe, on account of its special environment and high speed movement, makes the measurement of velocity much more difficult. In this project, the velocity measurement method of the super-speed target in the pipe was deeply studied, the high-precision, high-level efficiency, high automated system of measurement of velocity of the super-speed target in the pipe was designed.In this paper, the following aspects were mainly focused:1. After closely studied the domestic and overseas research on super-speed objects in the pipe, judging by design requirements, via theoretical analysis, put forward the design proposal, which was based on line scan CCD Laser Triangulation Method. Then the optimum parameters of the system based on Laser Triangulation Method were designd.2. According to the principle of Laser Triangulation Method, established a mathematic model which used intermediate parameters as system parameters. Then optimized these system parameters by means of partition calibration method and Weighted Least Squares Cure Fit creation methods.3. Designed the system structure, inclueding optical imaging system, mechanical designing, setting parameters of CCD camera, the design of camera lens, laser device, diaphragm, collimation and calibration assisting units.4. Completed the software based on the secondary development of Camera Link Frame Grabber. This software system also supported the character of this system's measurement of velocity and position. Put forward the obtaining neutral position algorithm in the inclined imaging condition.5. Performed experiments of system functional test, system calibration test, target velocity measurement test.
