The Research And Practice On Disaster Recovery System Of Core Business Of China Construction Bank

With the spreading of computer application in the bank industry, system usability is more and more important for bank service. Beside stability of local machine system, it still needs a couple of protection methods to ensure service running without any unplanned downtime caused by some accidents, including natural disasters, equipment damage. The protect system will benefit social stable, final safety and company reputation. As the core business processing center of China Construction Bank, the system reliability and service continuance is the key factor for all business of bank and it impact competition competence obviously. Then the research and practice disaster recovery system is significance for the safety of data integration, reduction the reaction time and improvement the emergency solving process.This paper focuses on the research and practice of the system based on IBM mainframes disaster recovery solution. Base on the study of disaster recovery level classification according to the core business system construction and characteristics, author design the core business disaster recovery system solutions. This scheme selected XRC/GDPS as recovery technology, the technical realizes zero data loss function and automatic recovery, it is the highest level solutions of disaster recovery. In this paper, author did overall planning and design details for module. In the prophase of planning, the author also completed the concrete implementation, business data synchronization and testing etc, and then also tracks performance statistics; implements of optimization. After investigation disaster recovery knowledge and practice, the solution is more adapted to CCB.Through the investigation and study, author set up the core business DISASTER RECOVERY SYSTEM of China Construction Bank. It realizes the highest level of the classification disaster recovery solutions. It means that Rcovery Point Object (RPO) is less than 2 minutes; Rcovery Time Object (RTO) is less than 2 minutes. The disaster recovery system makes China Construction Bank recovery ability to the world advanced level. During the maintenance of disaster recovery system, author did a series of summary and optimization according to the problems happened in maintenance, and more advanced technology were practiced into the CCB's core business disaster recovery system, including Zero Suspend Flash Copy, Enhanced Multiple Reader, XRC Incremental Resync, etc. These techniques for the implementation of construction is not only the core business disaster recovery system has been optimized, and also the ideal foundation structure for "three center in two city" (production center, remote disaster recovery center and local disaster recovery center), and pointed out the direction of further study.
