E-government Information Resource Catalog System Design And Implementation

After more than 20 years of Chinese e-government development, many problems still exist, such as the sharing of information resources among different government departments faced repeated collection, data naming differences in format, technology diversification. The difficult to exchange and share information among departments, seriously affect the efficiecy of the overall e-government. To solve this problem, in 2002, the Information Leading Group first proposed the concept of the Chief Information Resource Catalog System. Subsequently, made the "Chief Information Resource Catalog System Related Issues" analysed the content and structure of the catalog system. Geospatial information center, issued the "Research on the Government Information Resource Catalog System Technology ".University issued "Discussion of Government Information Resource Catalog System and Exchange System Framework".Basing on Information Resource Catalog System Standards and the situation of our country, we integrated existing J2EE technology, database technology, LDAP, computer data encryption technology and network security technology, analysed overall system structure and the whole model. We propose the Chief Information Resource Catalog System specific technology programs, including security model, the functional model and business model.We use SSL,web technology,LDAP and Database to design security model and construct a security network which based on the user identity verification and certification authority mechanism.About functional model,we used Struts to develop and design. Based on the Struts Framework, we have carried out a detailed delineation about the functional modules of the system and we have analysed the specific functions and business processes. Finally, we used Struts framework implementing the Chief Information Resource Catalog System and analysed the performance of the system.Through the implement of the resource catalog, we can inspect the feasibility of the resource catalog system, we can find the defects of the system and we can improve the system.The implement of the resource catalog system provides realistic basis for the construction of the government affair resource catalog system of our country.
