Research On Uml Model Transformatin Based On Mda

Model Driven Architecture (MDA), proposed by Object Management Group (OMG), is a new kind of software architecture. MDA focuses on the model and model transformation. Software development is driven by transformation among models. Model transformation is the dominative technology in MDA.By studying MDA and Unified Modeling Language (UML), the relation between the use-case diagram and the sequence diagram and the relation between the sequence diagram and the state machine diagram are analyzed. Then transformation rules and methods among them are proposed in this thesis. Firstly, in order to ensure the accuracy of the use-case description, a standardized use-case description language is defined, on the basis of which a semi-automatic transformation method from the use-case diagram to the sequence diagram is presented. Secondly, according to whether or not structured modules are contained in a sequence diagram, the transformation approach from a simple sequence diagram or the sequence diagram with fragment to state machine diagrams is given respectively. Finally, a model transformation tool is designed and realized, which ensures the feasibility and correctness of the transformation methods presented.
