Research On Model Transformation And Its Application Based On Model Driven Architecture Framework

In 2002,MDA(Model Driven Architecture )was brought forward by OMG(Object Management Group).MDA aims to separate business or application logic from underlying platform technology.Platform-independent applications built using MDA and associated standards can be realized on a range of open and proprietary platforms,including CORBA,J2EE,.NET,and Web Services or other Web-based platform .Fully-specified Platform-independent Models(PIM) can enable intellectual property to move away from technology-specific code ,helping to insulate business applications from technology evolution ,and further enable interoperability.In addtition , business applications,freed from technology specifics ,will be more able to evolve at the different pace of business evolution.In order to realize visualization of MDA,OMG established a series of standards.Many accessorial tools have parts of MDA characteristic have published overseas.MDA is a kind of technology that still in seedtime ,but it represents deep potention . Domestic research draw little attention to standards under MDA framework and MDA model transformation.Developing accessorial tools have MDA characteristic and Developing system using the tools must base on standards under MDA framework and MDA model transformation. This paper studies on MDA model transformation primarily,and developed an application using a typical accessorial tools under MDA framework . The research work in the paper will become good foundation for system development base on MDA.First ,give brief description of the develope process and the roles of the main standards in MDA.then analyse MOF (Meta Object Facility), advance a strategy to extend and establish a new model language base on MOF and UML profile.next,deep study on model transformation and transformation rule definition,advance a modeling model transformation method through CWM. Finally,realize model transformation from ship-paint system PIM to PSM and code.
