The Design And Implementation Tcp Nat Traversal Based On Stunt Protocol

NAT technology through the LAN host addresses to the external network address on the Internet, enabling reuse of network addresses. However, many Internet protocols and network applications need p2p network communication requirements, and with the improvement of communication requirements, which require TCP way communication link. NAT devices hinder the communication of p2p network. Based on the existing agreements and the actual NAT traversal solution, we design NAT traversal solution in p2p network in this paper. The main points are:1. Studying the current solution of traversal NAT, and find out the strongpoint and shortcoming. Find out the characteristic of NAT technology and the problems of TCP connection when traversal NAT device.2. Bringing forward TCP connection between client and server each other when traversal NAT device by studying the strongpoint and shortcoming of the current solutions and the problems of traversal NAT.3. Media Transfer Server is additional solution, which provide to the traversal NAT in complicated network. Since this solution is a complement C/S mode of communication, the client can solve the problem traversal multi-layer virtual network.
