Research And Implementation Of A Service-oriented Message Middleware

Message-oriented middleware is the key component of the distributed system integration, utilizing highly efficient and reliable messaging mechanisms for platform independent data exchanges. However, it has not been realized through a loosely coupled method by using traditional specific platform or development tool based techniques, which do not have adequate scalability and flexibility and cannot meet the variability needs for system integrations.In order to resolve these problems in traditional development processes, RCSOMQ which implements the service oriented message middleware, is presented in this thesis. Based on the background and needs of the current project, the deficiency of traditional message oriented middleware is pointed out firstly in the thesis. Then a model of the service oriented message middleware SOMQM is proposed, incorporating service oriented design philosophy. The highlight of this model is that by using the service orient architecture (SOA), this message-oriented middleware can be divided into many services of different independent functionalities and at the same time combined together to meet the functionality needs at the minimum cost. Based upon this model, the architecture of RCSOMQ is realized and the internal modules are also shown in this thesis. The service access module is the focus of the study. In the message processing, a polling type algorithm based on priority is given to ensure the correctness and effectiveness of messaging. At the last part, an application environment is deployed.By the support from the SOA, RCSOMQ not only enhances the system flexibility and scalability and supports the access and scheduling of services, but also increases the system load balancing capability and performance to a certain extent. Experiments show that the feasibility and effectiveness of RCSOMQ have met the design requirements.
