Message-oriented middleware and Web Services are the two major middleware for system integration. In order to suit for the enterprise-oriented distributed system integration, a model of service-oriented middleware based on message, which integrate the two technology mentioned before, is issued.Based on the message-oriented middleware, the model should achieve the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Differed from the SOA in Web Services technology, the model makes full use of message-oriented middleware and implements a series of flows such as services registering, services finding and binding with simple method, avoiding some complex protocols of Web Services technology. The service definition mechanism used in the model is not only very simple, but structured and layered, which should be able to support the service-oriented word flows excellently. According to the design aims of the model, the server engine of message-oriented middleware would be modified and service registering table component would be added, so that a series of work flows of SOA might be fulfilled and messaging reliability mechanism of message-oriented middleware might be used, which would further enhance the reliability in communications. In order to utilize the redundancy devices completely, the model should adopt loading balance technology. After comparing several loading balance technologies carefully, based on the traits of model and the design of the service registering table component, the model use a local loading balance mechanism that may support the service requests distributing and request divided manned. The results of experiment show that this loading balance mechanism could balance the loads of system effectively and make full use of the redundancy devices, improving the system's efficiency. Furthermore, these results also demonstrate that single service interval have no effects to loading balance mechanism, which might prove the model has the ability of loading balance for all kinds of services.
