Design and implementation of a 3G communication technology based on wireless video server. The video server to the front of the camera's analog video input through the A/D converter, Converted to a digital video signal. DM6446 with multimedia processing chip digital video signal will be standards-based H.264 video compression, Produce high compression ratio bit stream.3G wireless communication module via the high-compression code to spread out.3G wireless networks to overcome multipath fading. Burst errors. Bandwidth fluctuations and other shortcomings, This paper introduces a hybrid automatic retransmission (HARQ) transmission mechanism, HARQ is a combination of the FEC and ARQ techniques to improve communication reliability.We set up the simulation environment to test the performance of video sever CIF format and PSNR were used to be the video input and evaluation standard. Result shows that this video server has good network adaptation.
