Geologic Body that is always under the surface is the major object of Geological research. A large number of surveying data that the geological researchers often faced with caused immense inconvenience to geological research and analysis. Based on Geological data, Geological Body 3D Visualization Technology create the 3D Geological model, and then the sightless geological body was shown on screen. The work efficiency of Geological research was increased by the research manner that Geological researchers can directly observe the 3D geological models.Based on the Science and Technology Project of Hebei Province "The Development of 3D Geological assessment software Based on Tetrahedral Mesh", Analysis and research were done for 3D Visualization's Related Technology. The paper is mainly made of following:Tetrahedral Mesh Measuring with Dispersing Visualization Method was detailly discussed. Using this Method, The Mesh measuring is made more intuitive and convenient, and the accuracy of the test is also enhanced. Base on the study on existing workings roaming technology, methods of Path Generation Algorithms and Border Test are given. And the principle and mathematical model of workings roaming technology were discussed. Using this Method, we can observe within workings and understand the extensional organization of workings. The Method of getting 3D Coordinate on the surface of Geologic body using mouse selection was discussed. More accurate data is given by this Method for geological Simulation Analysis. Analysis and Design of Multi-Form Visualization method has been done, and the Implementation Scheme of this method are given. It gives a means for user to compare geologic body in multiple windows. It improves the effect of Visualization.Finally, author gives the system frameworks of prototype system. And then, applying VC++ and OpenGL, realize and validate those key methods above.Research contents of this topic have higher research value and application Value.
