Research And Development Of E-commerce Platform Based On Mobile Agent Aglets

The rapid development of modern network technology has broken through limit of time and space. Network and globalization have become an inevitable trend. E-commerce which takes Internet as a carrier uses bank electronic payment and settlement, relies on customer transactions, and regards trade as main part. E-commerce has quickly changed the traditional commerce operational mode with unexampled advantage and immutable direction.Mobile Agent (MA) technology arises from the field of artificial intelligence. It is a new model of distributed computing, which supports interrupted computing, saves network bandwidth, improves the communication efficiency, overcomes the isomerization of network, and provides a natural model for E-commerce. It overcomes the drawbacks in the structure of traditional Client/Server and Brower/Server mode, such as single mode, lack of flexibility, etc. Meanwhile, it also shows good prospect of technology and application and is considered as the mainstream of distributed computing pattern. The intelligence, autonomy, mobility and collaboration of Mobile Agent provide a new solution for the development of E-commerce. With these characteristic, it is clear that the new E-commerce mode integrated with Mobile Agent prominently outperforms the traditional mode in adaptability and advantage.This thesis firstly analyzed the lack of traditional E-commerce and discussed a new E-commerce mode which adopts the mobile agent technology; and then systematically introduced Mobile Agent technology and the Mobile Agent Platforms-IBM Aglets. On this basis, an E-commerce prototype system based on IBM Aglets platform was designed and implemented, and an experimental analysis was done. Experimental results showed that the prototype system has excellent performance, scalability, and reliability.
