The software is Desktop-based application.Firstly in current paper, the definition, element-function module, global development actuality and trend of PDM system are introduced. Based on the analysis of actual situation and requirement about enterprise information in medium/pint-sized machine-manufacture enterprises, the simulation collaboration platform based on PDM technique is built up. The system can solve some difficulties in data management about CAD and CAE to the medium/pint-sized machine-manufacture enterprises. Then research development background is introduced united the task source.Trough the comparison to the frame of C/S and B/S, the C/S frame is adopted. by the selecting about developing tools, the overall system design is finished and the general system structure model is build up. Then it is introduced detailed how the FTP server is built up including the user limits of authority assigning and server safety configuration. combination of research projects and user demand,the paper gives a detailed analysis for users of collaboration simulation platform and the using flow, sets up the use of flowcharts and data flow diagram. in accordance with the concept-structural design, logic design and physical design steps the overall system E-R diagram and relationship module are set up, the database design is completed and the database server is set up.Finally, in the pre-needs analysis, the system development model is set up, the functions of mission management, project management, system management and collaboration management of simulation collaboration platform are completed, and examples of the operation of the system are given detailing the system the working process.
