The Application Of Sse-cmm In Xx Banking Information System

With the development of the society, Banking is playing a more and more essential role in social production and life, it is the safety of the Banking system that takes the decisive part of this play. Moreover, the recent outbreak of a series of risk events at home and abroad which are associated with IT has further provided us a profound lesson and teaching on Banking system safety. Therefore, to create a secure and efficient system construction process, this paper, relying on the direction of SSE-CMM model theory, aims at assessing the existing construction processes of XX Banking system and then putting forward targeted reform plans accordingly.Owing to the increase in transaction volume and enhanced requirements for business and function, Banking has successively resorted to computer information systems for business and data management. After several decades of development, the safety, the reliability and the validity of the information technology have obtained directly impacts upon the security of the entire banking and financial system stability. Now that Banking technology is pacing faster and faster, especially with a continuous improvement of the information and data logic intensity, the risk of information technology has become another potential danger to the stable operation of financial institution of Banking.However, with the continuous improvement of safety awareness, people's concern for safety has shifted from information system to the process of constructing information system .It's more important to meet the demand for safety with such thought as how to take systemic measures to guarantee the security of the information system construction process and how to set up a module to assess the reasonableness of the management of the construction process.In order to obtain an accurate and objective analysis on the system construction process for XX Bank, this paper will first analyze the existing banking process as to extract and abstract it into key fields in SSE-CMM Model. Then based on its scientific assessing criteria, related participants will be invited to conduct the research with the purpose of creating grading criteria for various fields. At last, a feasible reform plan can be proposed by dissecting the key fields and the ones with a low maturity as well as by combining it with the practical situation. In that way a more perfect system construction process could be ensured, with whose efficiency the security of the entire Banking system will be able to be achieved at the same time.
