A Study On The Correlation Between Psychological Resilience And English Achievement Of Liushou Students In Rural Junior Middle School

From 1990s, a lot of farmers left their home to seek work, do business or do other jobs in cities with the development of China's economy. Liushou students came into being. The separation of the children from their parents causes problems for their children at home. Most children left alone at home and do badly in their lessons and some of them commit crimes, which will affect the stability of the society. So much more attention should be paid to these children, especially their study.This paper aims at finding out whether Liushou students with different personalities can have the same level Psychological Resilience arid succeed in English learning, whether the replacement of parents of every Liushou student can help he/her get high English achievement in English learning. The author in this paper takes the Psychological Resilience as the media variable. The author also want to find out whether Personalities of Liushou Students and the Replacement of Parents for Liushou Students will affect their Psychological Resilience and their achievement in English. The author makes a 6-month experimental study on Personalities of Liushou Students and the Replacement of Parents for Liushou Students (Psychological Resilience) and English achievement, so as to draw an authentic conclusion. The outcomes prove that different characters of personality---- introverts and extroverts---- have different Psychological Resiliences, the Replacement of Rarents only has significant influences on extroverts Liushou students, but not significant influences on introverts Liushou students.
