To offer compulsory courses and optional courses simultaneously in senior high school education is an important move in New Curriculum Reform, which emphasizes the optional course is likewise no less important than the compulsory one. Since it will satisfy the diversified and multi-level needs of students, and promote the development of their personality, it is indeed most necessary to initiate optional courses during senior high school years. However, in the past, most of the optional courses ended up in vain, one important reason was that they were not embodied in the University Entrance Examination, and had been ignored for too long. Hence, in New Curriculum Reform, the optional courses are included in the examination. Nevertheless, in the regions where the New Curriculum Reform has been carried out since 2007, from the analysis of Chinese exam paper, the author finds that the test of optional courses is still lack of fairness, independence and selectivity. After referring to the formers'achievement in research, and integrating with the author's own practical experience, this thesis makes a thorough analysis on the Chinese exam paper since the curriculum reform in 2007, and brings forward a new test pattern of optional courses in Chinese Entrance Examination.
