The Evaluation Of Social Performance In The Urban Regeneration Of Tiexi Old Industrial District In Shenyang

The urban regeneration of Tiexi old Industrial District has been in progress for eight years, the great change has happened in the townscape, but whether the serious problems that bothered the government a lot in the last twenty year have been solved or not is a big issue.In order to figure this out, the paper focuses on the social changes after urban regeneration, and chooses the Tiexi old Industrial District in Shenyang as an example to evaluate the social performance. First, the author uses the questionnaire survey to get the primary data which could be analyzed to figure out what is the condition of the residents like after the regeneration in Tiexi district. And this condition can reflects the social performance, after this, we are going to predict the effects caused by it in the future, and finally we could evaluate the social performance by judging the effects.In this way, we could get this result, that is, there is a big difference between the attitude towards the evaluation, and the most of the serious problems have not been solved, especially the bad living situation of the people who live here for a long time. And how this happened? In the process of the urban regeneration in Tiexi, the development of real estate make the social mobility in structure happened which would destroy the traditional relationship and cause the social differentiation and culture replacement, and this would make the future of Tiexi at risk. So the performance of the evaluation is not as effective as the townscape.
