The Relationship Between Irritable Bowel Syndrome And Psychological Factor In The Patients

Objective:To discuss the relationship between Irritable bowel syndrome and psychological factor in the patients.To investigate with SCL-90 both IBS patients and control group. Methods: Use SCL-90 to assess 30 patients with IBS and 30 volunteers were involved in the study,who visit in Digestive Department in Xinjiang Medical University and diagnose as IBS.The patients case definitions adjust to ROME III,and exclude malabsorption syndrome,Infection Schistosoma,gastrointestinal tract tumor,Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, alteration of intestina flora,diseases of liver and gall,diseases of endocrine,no Nervous System and mental illness,no Drug/Alcohol Abuse.Use SPSS17.0 to T verify analysis.Results:There were abnormal scores on depression, anxiety, panic, compulsion idea, and hypersensitivity of people relation, depression and anxiety (P<0.05) were obvions in IBS patients, show that IBS patients ubiquit abnormity psychology: depression, anxiety, panic, compulsion idea.The scores in somatization and anxiety, the female higher than male patients, the difference have a statistics significance. Conclusion: IBS patients have the abnormal psychological, The abnormal psychological factor may play a role in the pathogenesis of IBS.
