Object1,To evaluate the reliability and validity of SF-36 Scales used in evaluating the HRQoL for the community population in Zhengzhou city.2,To evaluate the state of HRQoL for the community population of Zhengzhou city;3,To analysis the main influcing factors on the HRQoLMethodsStratified random and chester sampling method was taken to the household survey at random on the community population in Zhengzhou with the Chinese version of the SF-36 translated by Zhejiang University,as well as the the economic and efficetive principles was adhered to in the study. The credibility of the investigation was tested by test-retest reliability and rater reliability. The inner consistency and stability of the scale was tested by the split-half reliability homogeneity reliability, The validity of the scale was tested by the criterion validity, construct validities and content validity. The ceiling or flooring effect was used to evaluate reaponsibility of the revised SF-36 scales.1. Scores of all the items of the revised SF-36 scales. Results show that There is no statistical difference between the standard deviation of items of vavious dimensions, excluding PE; The standard deviaton of RP, RE are relatively small because that more than 90% subjects choose the highest score; Except for PF2, PF5, BP2, the other itmes and the assumed items are consistent in order or opposite in order.2. Reliability evaluation2.1 Test-retest reliability:the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICCs)of the two surveys were no less than 95%.(P<0.05)2.2 200 questionnaires were taken out randomly according to the No., and the data was input with Epidata 3.1, and then the correlative test was conducted. P<0.001. 2.3 The mean scores of the final score of 8 dimensions are ordered according to the ascending order, then the 8 dimensions are divided into two parts according to the parity number, of which the odd numbers including BP, PF,GH and SF, the even numbers including RE,RP,MH and VT. By bivariate analysis of the two parts, the coefficient of split-half reliability can be drawn:r=0.8402.4 Internal consistent reliability:The correlation analysis indicated that there was moderate, low correlation between the dimensions of the revised SF-36 scales.3. Evaluation on the validity of revised SF-36 Scales3.1 The criterion validity:By taking EQ-5D as reference, the results showed that there were statistically significant correlation coefficients between the dimensions'score of EQ-5D and the final score of the dimensions of SF-36 scales.3.2 Construct Validity:Through varimax, two principal components (PHC and NHC) were extracted by the factor analysis of the 8 dimensions of the revises SF-36 scales, of which PHC includes PH, RP,BP,GH, and the NHC includes VT, SF, RE, MH.3.3 Content validity:The rerative analysis shows that there were statistically signiticant correlation coefficients between the scores of all items and the dimensions of the SF-36 scales.4.Responsibility evaluationThe resuls show that the extreme scores of other dimensions are in small proportion in SF-36 scales, excluding RE, RP and BP.5.Analysis of the influcing factors on the health of community population in Zhengzhou. The results showed that the factors of sex, educational level, the regular life, appetite, chronic diseases, having diseases within two weeks and the times of seeing the doctors had significant effect on the phyical health, the factors of the type of health care, sleep, the attitude towards life and the chronic diseases has statistically significant effect on the mental health. Conclusions 1.The scores' order of all items of the revised SF-36 scales was approached to the assumed order, as well as the standard deviation of the items of the same dimension was close to each other.2.The results showed that the revised SF-36 scales had high repeatability and good stability, when the scores error made by diffirent raters is considered negligible.3.The dimensions of the revised SF-36 scales mutually connected each other or being independent..4. The two components (PHC and NHC) were extracted by the factor analysis is basically consistent with the standpoint of the original structure of SF-36 scales.5. The content or the subject can be well expressed by the choosen items.6. The resuls show that the extreme scores of other dimensions are in small proportion in SF-36 scales, excluding RE, RP and BP. The sensitivity of SF-36 scales is satisfaory.
