Oral Health Survey And Influencing Factors Analysis Among Adult In Jiangxi Province

Objective:The purpose of this survey is to identify the oral health status and the influencing factors,monitor the common oral disease status such as dental caries and periodontal disease,realize the knowledge?attitude and behavior about oral health care,analyse the change trend of oral disease among adult in Jiangxi province.And it also can provide basis for provincial hygienic administrative department to develop the policy of oral health care?arrange oral hygienic work?optimize the allocation of oral human resources.Methods:The survey sample according to the north and south,east and west,urban and rural,men and women stratified sampling,The survey sample size uniform distribution and gender parity in individual randomly sampling.The total number of the sample size is 900 divided into 3 groups,aged 35-44 years?55-64 years?65-74 years.The participants must be living in the local more than six months.The survey content is divided oral examination and questionnaire.The oral examination including mucosal status,dental status,periodontal health and denture status,the questionnaire including general information,eating habits,oral hygiene behavior,oral medical behavior,ral health knowledge,etc.Results:In the group of age 35-44,45.33% adult had dental caries in permanent teeth,the mean numbers of DMFT were 1.79,positive rate of calculus,gingival bleeding,periodontal pocket and attachment loss were 99.67%,97.33%,27.00% and15.53%,9.67% adult had at least one kind of prosthesis and mean numbers of retained teeth were 29.65,none of people had complete tooth loss.In the group of age 55-64,72.33% adult had dental caries in permanent teeth,the mean numbers of DMFT were 4.36,positive rate of calculus,gingival bleeding,periodontal pocket and attachment loss were 98.33%,97.67%,51.33% and 56%,34.33% adult had at least one kind of prosthesis and mean numbers of retained teeth were 29.65,0.33% people had complete tooth loss.In the group of age 65-74,78.00% adult had dental caries in permanent teeth,the mean numbers of DMFT were 7.41,positive rate of calculus,gingival bleeding,periodontal pocket and attachment loss were 93.67%,92.00%,43.67% and 63%,40% adult had at least one kind of prosthesis and mean numbers of retained teeth were 23.58,2.33% people had complete tooth loss.There were no participants had the musal disease.Conclusion:Dental caries and periodontal disease are common disease in Jiangxi provence.Compared with ten years ago,the rate of prosthes has increased and people with complete tooth loss reduced.
