An Analysis Of Treatments And Prognosis Of Peritoneal Cysts With 58 Cases

Purpose:To discuss the differences of 4 treatments and their prognosis. Methods: Reviewed 58 cases of peritoneal cyst,group A(n=10):Treated with aspirating the fluid in the cysts guided by B ultrasounds.Group B(n=16):Treated by ultrasound-guided puncture aspiration of hydrops and ethanol injection.Group C(n=14):Treated with laparoscopic operations.Group D(n=18):Treated by open abdominal operations.Results:The cure rate in group A was 10.00%,cure and improvement rate was 20.00%;The cure rate in group B was 56.25%,cure and improvement rate was 75.00%;The cure rate in group C was 14.29%,cure and improvement rate was 21.43%;The cure rate in group D was 11.11%,cure and improvement rate was 22.22%.Comparison of cure and improvement rate:Group B was higher than group A(χ~2 =7.14 ,P<0.05); There was no conspicuous difference between group A and C(χ~2 =0.20 ,P>0.05);There was also no difference between Group A and group D(χ2= 0.667 ,P>0.05);The cure and improvement rate of Group B was above group C(χ~2 =5.4 ,P<0.05);And Group B also above group D(χ~2 =4.00 ,P<0.05);Group C and group D(χ~2 =0.14 ,P>0.05). Conclusions: The cure and improvement rate of group B was above the other 3 groups.So Ultrasound-guided puncture aspiration of hydrops and ethanol injection was a better therapy methods for peritoneal cysts.But the recurrent rate was still high(25.00%).
