Study The Expression Of Ki67,caveolin-1 And Ck5/6 In The Triple-negative Breast Cancer

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to analyze the expression of ki67, caveolin-1,and CK5/6.with a view to analysis whether there are differences between the control group and the TNBC group.To provide more theoretical basis for clinical evaluation and treatment of TNBC.MethodsThe data of 120 breast cancer patients between 2002-2007 in our institution were retrospectively analyzed. According to immunohistochemical staining (ER,PR,Her2)results the patients were divided into three groups. ER, PR,Her2 were negative(one group);ER positive,PR positive,Her2 negative(two group); ER negative,PR negative,Her2 positive(three group).Two-step method to detect the expression of ki67,caveolin-1,and CK5/6 of all patients.Result(1) The three groups ki67 PI were 47.58±28.09,21.71±12.44,34.52±18.29, pairwise comparison was statistically significant difference (P<0.01), triple-negative group was higher than the other two groups.(2)In the triple-negative group, CK5/6 positive ki67 PI is 59.82±28.72, negative is 37.53±22.92, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).(3) In one group the positive rate of ki67 in<15% is the proportion of 7.7%,>30% accounted for 59.4%, compare with the other group the differences was statistically significant (P<0.01);lymph node metastasis group ki67 positive rate>30% compared to 66.7%, compared with the other two groups was statistically significant difference (P<0.01);in triple-negative group, CK5/6 positive ki67 positive rate>30% is the proportion of 75%, compare with negative the difference is statistically significant (P<0.01). (4) ki67 PI is connected with TNM stage, histological grade, lymph node metastasis correlation (P<0.05), ki67PI with the TNM stage and histological grade increases gradually increased,it doesn't matter with age, menopausal status, tumor size and pathology type.(5) The expression of Caveolin-1 is very low in all kinds of breast carcin-omas,so it is not a useful marker in detecting triple-negative breast carcinoma.ConclusionThrough the expression of ER,PR,Her2 we can separate TNBC,we need to mark CK5/6 for the basal-like breast cancer,because they have different prognosis.Quantify the expression of ki67 can accurate the response of tumor cell proliferation,and guide treatment and assess prognosis the better.
