Objective:According to the impact of Shegan Mahuang Tang (SMT) on airway remodeling and TGF-β1 in order to explore the treatment effect of bronchial asthma and its interaction theory.Methods:60 clean female BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 6 groups(10mice/ group):the control groupA,the model groupB, the DXM group C,the SMT low dose groupD (4.1g/kg),the SMT middle dose groupE (8.2g/kg) and the SMT high dose groupF (16.4g/kg).According to grouping, the various drugs were treated the mice which were established model of airway remodeling.We observed the mice general conditions and graded them in terms of asthmatic severity.Lung tissue sections were stained to observe pathological changes. Furthermore,the thickness of bronchial vessel wall,the thickness of airway smooth muscle and peripheral collagen deposition were measured by pathological image.Lung tissue expression of TGF-β1 were detected by immunohistochemical staining.Results:1.Compared with the control group,the severity of asthma attacks in the model group increased dramatically(P<0.05).Compared with the model group, the severity of asthma attacks in the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group were significantly reduced(P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the DXM group,the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group(P>0.05).2.Compared with the control group,the thickness of bronchial vessel wall,the thickness of airway smooth muscle and peripheral collagen deposition in the model group increased dramatically(P<0.05).Compared with the model group, the above parameters in the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group were significantly reduced(P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the DXM group,the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group(P>0.05).3.Compared with the control group,lung tissue expression of TGF-β1 in the model group delivered dramatically(P<0.05).Compared with the model group, lung tissue expression of TGF-β1 in the SMT low dose group, the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group were blocked significantly (P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the DXM group,the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. SMT could decrease the thickness of bronchial vessel wall, the thickness of airway smooth muscle and peripheral collagen deposition in asthmatic mice.2. SMT could block lung tissue expression of TGF-β1 in asthmatic mice.3.SMT could improve airway remodeling by influencing the expression of TGF-β1 in lung tissue.
