Barley is most important crop just next to wheat, maize and rice, which is the main raw material for beer brewing, animal feed, grain. It is widely planted in the world. Recently, as the beer industry has developed rapidly, the demand of Barley are growing. At the same time, it's quality requirement is increasing. The technique of SSR marker is the one of the best way to improve malting barley yield and quality, which with most explicited, shortest period of time high yield and quality. In this study,60 Malt barley including wild Malt Barley, salt-resistance Malt Barley, Ganpi Series varieties(lines) and Japanese early Malt Barley as research objects, in order to research the genetic relationship among those diverse varieties Malt barley by the Polymorphism Analysis of SSR marker technique. We expect to obtain the distant parents, which provide new variety breeding with high yield, high quality, early maturity, salt-resistance, stress resistance characteristics on the basis for molecular level.Our results are expected to offer valuable reference which are as follows:1.Choosing 2 pairs separately in the long as well as short arms on the 7 pairs of chromosome in barley, in all, we got 28 pairs of SSR primer.25 pairs of SSR primer were detectedto have polymorphism and 225 loci were measured totally. Thereinto,199 loci have polymorphismwhich occupies 88.4%. Each priver can augment 2-14 loci with 7.96 loci in the average. The polymorphism information content among the 25 pairs were analyzed, Bmag0500 got the highest PIC 0.9130, EBmac0970 got the lowest 0.4712, with the average0.7836. The result of cluster analysis indicated that the GS varied from 0.4792 to 0.9948 among these 60 materials. Cluster analysis showed that 60 Malt Barley could be classified into 2 groups at the level of GS 0.63,which were respectively classified into 7 subgroups again.2.There are more complicited genetic relationships between Ganpi series varieties (lines) and wild materials, some of these genetic relationships are closer, but some of these have distant relationship material; Ganpi series varieties (lines) have distant genetic relationship with salt-resistance varieties, while closer genetic relationship with Japanese early maturing Malt Barley.3.The genetic similarity coefficient within Ganpi series varieties (lines) are relatively high, their have narrow genetic background.there are the low genetic diversity within salt-resistance varieties and wild material, their have abundant genetic background.There are the large genetic differences between Ganpi series varieties (lines) and other types, if wild materials, salt-resistance and early maturing variety be used as crossing parents, there may be get some hybrid progeny including salt-resistance, early maturity, adverse-resistant characteristics with strong heterosis.
