Lean production is a scientific production way that can significantly reduce costs, reduce waste of scientific production. Combined with N's new factory layout, the design of cell manufacturing layout of the torque arm workshop has been put forward in this thesis, in accordance with the concept of lean cell manufacturing. In order to achieve single-piece flow production in the manufacturing cell, a kanban pull system should be established.In the thesis, lean production model and its core ideology are introduced firstly, after the detailed analysis of cellular manufacturing model, the author proposes that cell manufacturing is a more suitable for the development of enterprises, combined with the N's situation. The production of torque arm has been chosen as a typical object for cell layout design and material handling system design. A kanban pull system is established with the design of Kanban Management System to meet the needs of the unit, in order to control the rhythm of production in the manufacturing cell. Though the achievement of single-piece flow in the manufacturing cell, the inventory module of work-in-process could be eliminated, and some other waste can be reduced, the production cycle can be shorten, the purpose of reducing costs can be achieve finally.
