Mechanical And Electrical Products Remanufacturing Evaluation Studies

With rapid economic development, the global ecological damage, resource shortages and environmental pollution came side by side. In addition, People keep on producing and consuming in the abundance of material civilization today. The increasing castoff is another problem humans should confront today. Machinery and electronic products manufacturing industry, which is one of the largest resource users, is also one of the biggest environmental polluters. According to statistics, more than 70% of global emissions comes from manufacturing industry. To develop re-manufacturing is the best way to completely solve the above problems.Remanufacturing is a series of technical measures or project activities of using advanced technology and industrial production as means to repair or transform waste products collectively, based on green product life cycle management, targeted at high quality, high efficiency, energy saving and materials saving, environmental protection.Remanufacturing is the practice of disassembling, cleaning, refurbishing, replacing parts (as necessary) and reassembling a product in such a manner that the part is at least as good as, or better than, new. The quality and performance of re-manufactured products would meet or exceed the new, which is an important feature of remanufacturing. But at the same time, cost is only 50% of new, with energy-saving 60% and materials saving 70%, the significantly reduced adverse environmental impacts.The comprehensive evaluation of mechanical and electrical products is to measure remanufacturability of waste electrical and mechanical products, which should take all factors into consideration. This is a comprehensive system evaluation.Among existing manufacturability evaluation, some went for a one-sided study of the property; some proposed a conceptualization of some influencing factors. None of them made a comprehensive evaluation of manufacturability. This paper made a comprehensive analysis of all influencing factors of re-manufacrurability, set up a premise and the four property: the service requirements and four factors of the environment, economy, resources, and technical. Satisfying service requirement is the premise to assess remanufacturability, while remanufacturability index is gained from the four attributes, using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process, which is the combination of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Mathematics, taking full account of all the impacts. Then an integrated assessment software of remanufacturability is achieved by Visual Basic 2005.And the author tracked the whole manufacturing process of the BX180 and helical gear in Zhengzhou Institute of Machinery, on which the comprehensive assessment of remanufacturability have been made.
