Large-scale power transformer is an important devices of power system, and high cost, so the power transformer maintenance and repair it is very necessary. And the traditional transformer Overhaul of the general plan is to overhaul and repair after such a significant overhaul of the way of blindness and mandatory.Through the course of partial discharge(PD) characteristics of the parameters of the analysis and the early signs of abnormality found to more accurately assess the degree of aging of insulation, which targeted for maintenance or replacement when the transformer precursor failure, not only effectively improve the reliability of electricity supply, but also reduces the cost of running the power system. Against the above background, this paper basis on a large amount of research and a wide range of literature, the ultra-high frequency(UHF) PD detection technology is researched, An antenna Archimedes which can be used to detect the UHF signals is designed. A measuring system for transformer PD based on LabVIEW platform is developed, hardware from some of the Archimedes spiral antenna, data acquisition cards, signal conditioning circuits, high-frequency coaxial cable as well as high-performance computer components. A software measuring system for transformer partial discharge based on LabVIEW platform is developed. The scene for the existence of different interference and the use of layered filtering integrated approach to develop a set of on-line PD monitoring of anti-jamming software. In the laboratory the characteristics of UHF signals are analyzed and studied. The system is designed to meet the requirements of the anti-jamming ability, with a certain degree of on-site applications.
