In this thesis, the radiation of Ultra-High-Frequency signals emitted from high-voltage switch cabinets'PD is studied theoretically. The PD UHF on-line monitoring system for high-voltage switch cabinet is studied, and a software measuring system for high-voltage switch cabinet partial discharge based on LabVIEW platform is developed. Four typical discharge models in 10kV high-voltage switch cabinet are designed and measured experimentally. It proves that the system has a wide range of measure bandwidth, and it can match the anti-jamming and stability demand of PD on-line monitoring for switch cabinet. In addition, the attenuation and propagation characteristics of UHF signals in high-voltage switch cabinets are studied and emulated. The work performed in this thesis will be of some value in terms of theory and practice for the UHF partial discharge detection of high-voltage switch cabinet.
