Source Class Of Instrument Design And Development Of Fault Diagnosis Expert System

Expert System is an intelligent program system which is always built up by human interface, knowledge warehouse, data warehouse and inference engine. It is the main research direction of artificial intelligence knowledge. Many fault information and practice experience are concluded to be rules that can be used by computer. All these rules are offered to knowledge warehouse finally. So we can infer and analyze all data using these rules. With the help of expert system we can find out the final fault reason. Furthermore, expert system has the function of self-study.A fault diagnosis expert system for instrumentation, based on RBR and CBR, is designed in the dissertation. It is a useful tool for instrument service and repair, especial了y for expensive import instruments. The expert system can diagnose which board of the instrument is faulty, using rules and cases in the database and appropriate reasoning method, just by the input faulty symptom of the instrument.Software design and implementation of the expert system is discussed in the dissertation. The program is composed of user management module, knowledge warehouse management module, fault diagnosis module, and help module. A rule editor which can visually edit fault tree of instrument is designed.A detail fault diagnosis instance of HP8360 series source with its theory and diagnosis methods is given.
