The automobile market in China developed fast in recent years. The increase of the number of vehicles also brought a lot of problems. The exhaust of vehicles becomes one of the most important source of the environment pollution. As the China market becomes more and more internationally, the law against vehicle exhaust passed by the government are more and more strict. This made a big challenge to the research of the vehicle and the manufacture industry.It cost the vehicles 30 percent of the time on idle condition, which makes the engine works instable, when it is drove in the town. It makes lots of HC and CO and pollutes the environment badly. How to keep the stability of the engine rotate speed becomes an important part of the research of the engine. This thesis used the dynamic model control (DMC) in the development of the engine idle control system. DMC has a good performance in robust, plus it needs no exact model of the engine, which made it a very good choice when it comes to the problem of developing the engine idle control system. The result shows that the DMC controller designed in this thesis has a good performance in stability and robust. DMC has a good prospect in the research of the engine idle control system.This paper also optimized the parameter of the DMC control by Genetic Algorithm (GA), which increased the efficiency a lot. The result shows that the DMC controller do have a great performance after the optimization. |
