Nowadays, the number of electronic controller and electronic equipment in the vehicle is drastically increasing, and the traditional way of wiring brings so many problems such as high weight, cost inflation and low reliability. The automobile network system has become one of the hottest technologies to solve this problem. Based on CAN bus, the author designed an automobile network information platform.The platform includes: Central control node, CAN gateway, Front node, Back node, Window node, LCD display node, Communication node and PC.The platform main functions are: collecting the signals of engine and car speed, the software and hardware design of nodes and their communication implementation, signals filter and transmission across gateway, dynamoelectric control of windows, electronic control of lights, the display and storage of the vehicle information, and monitoring the communication in upper computer through the interface of CAN-USB.According to the need of platform, MC9S12DP256 is chosen for the core part of nodes. To realize the receiving and transferring of CAN messages, the combination of msCAN12 (which is a compositive module of MC9S12DP256) and PCA82C250 is used. Furthermore, the LCD display screen substitutes the classical apparatuses. The thought of modular programming is introduced into the design of software. Every module has its special function. Different nodes use some different modules to complete their missions. At last, the design of anti-interference is conducted, both in terms of software and hardware.The experiment proves that the platform works well, with the advantages of high reliability, stability and expansibility. At the same time, some problems emerging in the experiment are discussed, and also the solutions are put forward and verified.
