The present study is intended as a solution to the radiography problem of NDT accelerator. It focuses on the theory analysis and designing of real-time digital radiographic inspecting system. Radiography, one of the methods adopted both at home and abroad, is difficult to achieve quantitative analysis and automatic on-line inspecting due to its high cost, long time, and human reading. So the present study, from the perspectives of theory analysis, system designing, image processing and so on, investigates the technique and methodology of real-time digital radiographic inspecting system of NDT accelerator.Starting from the perspective of the overall designing of real-time digital radiographic inspecting system, based on the introduction to the mechanism of radiographic inspection, the present study is firstly concerned with several method of the radiographic inspection, and then gets the advantages and disadvantages of real-time digital radiographic inspecting system. Then analysis is made on the influence of such factors as geometric unsharpness, quantum noise and scattering noise on the sensitivity of radiographic inspection. After analysis and comparison of the common real-time digital radiographic inspecting systems, the converter screen inspecting system is believed to be the appropriate approach to the problem of real-time digital radiographic inspecting system. According to the design principle, the selection of ray source,converter screen,lens and designing of machinery structure are discussed on special stress. In order to improve the sensitivity and to make full use of radiographic information, scientific grade CCD digital camera is selected. It can also reduce the noise of CCD. In order to improve the quantity of image, the method of image processing is discussed finally.After the study and analysis, we built up the experiment system and carried on a great deal of experiment, obtaining a series of data at last. The testing sensitivity arrives at 1.6% at present.
