According to the basic principle of image-guidance technology, with guided bullets as the research background, guided bullets based on image-guidance technology are explored in this paper. This paper focuses on the hardware composition and software design of the image data acquisition and processing system on the bullet.Firstly, according to the analyses of existing guidance technology used on missiles and bombs based on the characteristics of bullets such as small-bore,image-guidance technology is adopted as the basic guidance technology of the guided bullets. The overall design of guidance control system is proposed based on the OV7675 as the image sensor, TMS320VC5509A(BGA) as the processor on the bullet and micro-step motor as the actuator to drive steering gear.Secondly, according to the basic peripheral circuit design and sequence characteristics analyses of the components, interface circuit between different components and the overall schematic of the system are designed. The PCB of the system is designed based on the schematic. The software of functional modules is programmed based on the hardware design of the system. And then, in order to facilitate debugging, image data real-time display module has been designed to display the image data acquired by the system. Finally, debugging and real-time analyses of the system have been done. The debugging results show that the system can acquire clear image data and drive the step motor do corresponding actions according to the target centroid calculation results. Real-time analyses show that the real-time performance of the system under the condition of simplified target can meet the project requirement.
