Residential Solar Energy Applications

With the deterioration of energy and ecological environment, many countries take solar energy as an important measure to tackle this problem , which is green and recyclable as an important strategy. As the energy consumption in residential construction occupies a great large proportion among the general social consumption in our country and the trend is still on the rise, it is an important means to relieve the energy pressure and realize sustainable development with the organic application of solar energy into residential construction. Combining with the present conditions, this article discusses the problem of solar energy application in residence and puts forward to relevant designing methods and tactics so as to offer consultation for relevant designs thereafter.There are five chapters in this article and the key parts are Chapter III and IV. Chapter I discusses the necessity of the wide application of solar energy in residence on the background of our present energy situation, the energy-consumption conditions of our residence and the utilization of solar energy. Chapter II studies the development of utilization technology of solar energy in Chinese and foreign residential construction. It mainly introduces the successful experience on national policies and application practice in developed countries and points out the deficiencies in our country. Chapter III discusses the passive-style utilization of solar energy in residence and puts forward to the tactics of warming and cooling with the passive-style utilization of solar energy. It also lists the main points of design for the passive-style utilization of solar energy in residence and makes a one-by-one analysis to summarize the general settling principles of the designing points. Chapter IV explores the active-style utilization of solar energy in residence and elaborates the application of solar energy water-heating system. Combining with some cases, it explores the integration design of solar energy water-heating system, villa, multi-story residence and high-rise and comes up with some feasible application tactics and technical schemes. Chapter V summarizes the whole article and points out the main direction of solar energy application in our residence and offers personal views on how to develop solar energy residence.
