The recoil systems of existing medium and major caliber weapon have such serious practical objections as excessive complex structure, excessive large volume and weight, and the difficulty of technical guarantee for the actuating medium of liquid and airtight high pressure gases. These problems can be resolved by the powder gases style system, however, it has not been applied practically for such serious practical objection as excessive erosion, influence the velocity of the projectile and the strength of the gun. The powder gases pump is an essential device on tank artillery, self-propelled artillery and other fixed artilleries. We can use the same powder gases and the same device to realize the functions of recoil and pump at the same time if we expand the function of the powder pump with the gun recoil. Wename this process the compound design of recoil and pump. With function compound, we can not only resolve the problems of the existing recoil systems above, but also improve the result of powder gases pump, and raise the return velocity, and make the curve of recoil resistance better.The compound system plan consists of the compound of return and pump, the compound of return and return-recoil and pump, and the compound of recoil and return and pump. The new established mathematic model Consist of the model of normal gases container, the model of recoil system of powder gas style which consists of the three plans above, the model of gas pump. The design of structure parameter is base on the 100-mm, tank gun. With the mathematic models of classical interior ballistics and classical recoil system and the new established mathematic model above. With the results of the design of structure parameter imitate the models to analysis the influence to function with various factors and compare the function index with all compound plans and existing systems and comprehensive survey the feasibility of compound plan.
