With the improving of our national economy, kinds of industry productiondemand high power quality. Getting the power quality parameter of power systemin time is very important to industry production.In the thesis, firstly, the national standards of power quality and thecorrelative algorithms are introduced briefly, then the shortcoming of traditionalpower parameters monitoring system and the necessity of monitoring to powerparameters are outlined in this thesis, besides the paper analyze the feasibility forusing the virtual instrument to develop the power quality monitoring system.Subsequently, the design and implement of hardware and software are mainlyanalyzed in this thesis. With regard to the hardware design, the sensor, signalmodulating circuit and the sampling circuit are introduced. Design the functionmodules of the system based on the graphics language Lab VIEW is discussed inthe software design. The function modules of the system include thedata-acquiring, frequency, effective value, three-phase unbalance, power,harmonic analyzing, the voltage fluctuation and flicker measuring, data storage.The system can monitor electric power parameter in real time.Finally, this thesis presents the results of primary test, the result proves thatthe system can meet the most requirement of designation for the power qualityparameters monitoring system.
