With the rapid development of the technology of Semiconductor, PC,Communications, Network and Software, the modern instruments' function is moreand more powerful. The intelligence and integration are from strength to strength.For this reason the precision instrument was widely used in the research andindustry. It is a pressure mission to verification the modern instrument rapidly,period, wholly, in order to insure the instrument be state of eligible.Traditional methods of measurement and calibration of instrument aretime-consuming and effort-consuming. The automatic test system hascharacteristics of measurement of precision, display result directly, auto-storagemeasurement dada. It is necessity trend that measurement and calibration ofinstruments by automatic test system.It is a hotspot that the instrument could be interchange, and the measurementcode could be transplanted in the Auto-Verification system. The idea of virtualinstrument has been introduced to the latest design of Auto-Verification System.The virtual instrument technology well used PC resource and the newest technologyof software to realize and expand function of traditional instrument, so thatperformance of modern test system is improved obviously.A general method is presented in this paper for Auto-Verification system,which is supported by Special Investing& Construction Found. In the beginning ofpaper, researches and keys for technology of Auto-Verification system and auto testsystem concisely. At the same time we focused the point of researching: theresearch of key technology of Auto-Verification System. Secondly, aiming at thetechnology of BUS in the Auto-Verification, especially the GPIB BUS and the mixBUS and LXI. In the 4th chapter we research the software technology ofAuto-Verification system: the Standard Command Programmable Instrument (SCPI),the Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (VISA), the VPP driver, IVI driverbased the signal. At last we build an Auto-Verification system that used the technology of DBMS, virtual instrument, mix BUS, VISA, which based normalPC.
