With the rapid development of economy, the demand of energy is enlarged day by day. As the strategic materials, coal and oil make great significances for the steady circulation of economy and the harmony of the whole society.The economic zones of Chang Jiang delta develop very quickly, so the demand of energy, especially for electricity power, becomes more and more. How to implement the distribution of energy in space to meet the necessary need has become a great task. The ministry of communications, ZheJiang province and the relative departments bring up the building of the LiuHeng coal .transshipment terminal. The idea of this planning includes: it is imperative to build the LiuHeng coal transshipment terminal to meet the coal demand for ZheJiang province, to buffer the insufficient capacity of loading and unloading coal in the ports along the ZheJiang coast, to accelerate the development of regional economy.LiuHeng's geographic district is pretty good, adjacent to the famous ports, such as BeiLun Port of NingBo, ShangHai Port. At the same time, the seacoast resource is rich. Then, the proportion of disaster climate is low in one year, so the norm operation time is guaranteed. The superior nature conditions play a great role in the construction of LiuHeng coal terminal.In this background, this text discusses the handling technology and the economical demonstration of the first phase project. The content of thesis covers many things, such as the development of bulk cargo handling technology, the throughput forecasting of coal in this area, the capacity of berths, the decision of handling technology, the approximate investment, the economic effect evaluation, the financial assessment and so on.With the economic and technology demonstration, the crane program is recommended to the construction of LiuHeng coal terminal. This program is feasible and significant in the term of economics and social development. Meanwhile, the thesis conclusion has somewhat consultation value for project design.
