This paper introduces system structure, function feature and development of remote control simulation of marine main diesel engine. It use C8051 F021 with HD7279A to implement input and output of plenty of digital and analog signals including LED display .control command, brige, etc. User can set the parameters of remote control system on the LCD display by keys of console.Its SDK is the very good tool to program to implement signal collection, processing and control with the support of hardware interrupts. And we can use software interrupts to implement mutiply task according the SoC MCU architecture. It combines full simulation system that MCU can communicate with PC by RS232 to exchange the measured signals and control commands.This also introduces .NET framework that Microsoft newly designed to devolep software program. It designed GUI of main engines simulation including engines logic program control and PID control under Visual Basic.NET and Visual Studio.NET 2005.It researches auto-tuning PID and applies of genetic algorithm according the main diesel engines model. After simulating under MATLAT 6.5, it confirms that GA auto-tuning is very useful tool in PID control of complex system. With the tools of matlab, we can call the "dll" library in Visual Basic.NET that it can compile the language m to language c/c++ and library file.All of this buildup the remote control simulation of marine main engine using in the lab of engineering automation at Shanghai Maritime University for teachers and students.
