The accelerating development of the space technology and the rocket weapon technology calls for increasingly high reliability of the rocket propulsion system. To accelerate the research step in new solid rocket motor, and to increase the shooting precision and closeness of rocket weapon, it is important to establish an advanced test system for solid rocket motor. Thrust misalignment of solid rocket motor is one of the factors of effecting closeness of rocket, and the six-component test set can be used to measure thrust misalignment of solid rocket engine.In this paper, the application of the Data Acquisition System of Odyssey XE in the Six-Component Testing System for Solid Rocket Motor is researched, and the most important is to solve the second-develop of data acquisition software of the general purpose data acquisition system. Based the Component Object Model (COM), the calibration software of the Odyssey Acquisition Software is developed. By studied the physics and mathematics model of the test-bed of thrust misalignment testing system for solid-propellant rocket motor, the data-processing software for six-component testing system is developed, and then the special parameters of the six-component data are extracted; random noise are reduced by using method of difference and flatness; the zero-excursion error and the change-value error which is raised by the change of the rammer weight are analyzed, and those error are adjusted in the signal processing. In the end, the Odyssey system's precision and reliability are validated by the calibration experiment and solid rocket motor trial-run experiment.
