With energy and air pollution becoming more serious as well as emission control regulations, the technologies of electronically controlled engine and development for clean energy are being paid more attention. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), as an example, is clean fuel of vehicle engine which is attached importance to. Hydrogen, the most promising energy, is also researched.Based on the detailed research on LPG engine and hydrogen fueled or enriched engine, also on the positive features of hydrogen and the current limitations associated with the LPG intake liquid injection engine, a hydrogen enriched LPG intake liquid injection engine was developed, and its performance and exhaust emission characteristics are investigated.The experiments of making hydrogen in the lab and its online-mixture combustion have been made. The flow of two injectors has been investigated, grounding the realization of ratio flexibly adjusted system.Through experiment, the effects of ratio of enriched hydrogen and excess air ratio have been research, it indicates from the experiment results that it is valid to improve the engine performance especially in improving the exhaust emission level at the idle speed status.
