The short of energy and air pollution become two main serious problems. The technologies of electronically controlled engine and development for clean energy are being paid more attention. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is clean fuel of vehicle engine; many research departments in local and foreign countries are focus on LPG-fuelled engines.The research of LPG-fuelled engines has been investigated and analyzed.Based on the detailed investigation on development status of nowadays and trend in the future for LPG engine, a plan which has been realized is put forward for LPG direct injection, detailed research and design are described on the high pressure system, nozzle design for LPG direct injection, high energy ignition system of captor discharge ignition, the origin control system for experiment is improved, and it is used for the engine bed building experiment research on LPG direct injection system which I have designed in this paper, it is successful to realize the direct injection of LPG; The contrast experiment between the captor discharge ignition system and the original transistor ignition system is done at idle speed status , it indicates from the experiment results that it is valid to improve the engine performance especially in improving the exhaust emission level at the idle speed status.
