This article, by investigating and studying the building material behavior in service of community residential in Shaanxi area villages and small towns, has carried on the analysis and ponder to the present residential building material choice of some theories, the methods and the process. On this foundation, by summing up, analyzing and comparing, regarding the well-to-do level standard and the angle that meeting the gradually increasing need of material and culture life as the starting point, and using the dynamic and developing view , and referencing to other subjects, such as physics thermodynamics, economics, sociology, psychology, geography and so on, adopting the theories of deducing and summing up, summarizing and expanding, and the combination of theory and practice etc, from the different angle for the building material choice of the villages and small towns well-to-do community residential ,this article proposed some feasible methods, and carried on the economic analysis regarding the wall material choice, and synthesized various aspect factors, recommended building material or material system which this article thinks economical and reasonable for the western villages and small towns well-to-do residential. Then this article from six related aspects, different angles proposed some measures to advance the west villages and small towns well-to-do community housing selecting the new wall material, attempts to provide a scientific basis and the measure which make the material choice economic, standardized and reasonable in Shaanxi even western area villages and small towns well-to-do community building under the new situation.
